The flexible architecture allows for maximum customization to your conferencing application. Montage 570 can start small and grow to a large system with your application needs. Different network topologies can be interconnected. Since Montage 570 supports the most complete range of industry standard and PictureTel high performance video and audio algorithms, it can be used with any PictureTel product as well as with any other videoconferencing system which supports the H.320 standard.

Montage also offers a range of optional features like continuous presence, audio conferencing, and T.120 multipoint data sharing. These options greatly enhance the quality of the multipoint communication. Continuous Presence delivers a more complete, more natural videoconference by allowing the participants to view other sites on a single desktop or room system. Audio conferencing increases the meeting flexibility by enabling the participants who do not have a videoconferencing system to connect to the conference using a regular telephone. T.120 data sharing functionality allows users to share and exchange data in multipoint meetings.
